Top 40 Videos
Pitchfork posted their top 40 favorite videos of the year. Some of my favorites:
Gnarls Barkley: “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul”. I like that the song is barely even present in this video.
She & Him: “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” This one isn’t that much of a ground-breaking video, but I like it because Zooey Deschanel is undeniably cute, even though I secretly suspect that she might be an asshole.
Vivian Girls: “Tell the World”. This one wasn’t actually on the list, but it should’ve been, ’cause it’s awesome.
The Mae Shi: “Run to Your Grave”. I don’t know anything about this band, but they have successfully managed to incorporate everything I love about music into one incredible song.They might as well never record anything ever again after this, because they’ve pretty much already beat the collective output of every other band.
The BPA feat. David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal: “Toe Jam”. And this is just flat out the best thing that ever was.
The important lesson here is that everyone loves naked chicks.

I can vouch that the fair Zooey is probably not an a-hole. I chatted with her once in a cemetary in Brooklyn (they were showing movies at the chapel there at night. Wierd, I know). I had no idea who she was at the time, but my special friend at the time saw me talking to her and was freaking out.
The only thing that proves to me is that you are the most BADASS MACK PLAYA of all time. I bow down to you.
I don’t know Kyle from Adam Bricker. But here’s what I do know:
Dude chatted up Zooey Deschanel in a cemetery.
You danced with Chloe Sevigny.
If Kyle’s chat earns him “the most BADASS MACK PLAYA of all time” I think that means you’re “the hardcore nigga at the center of the supermassive black hole at the center of the Mily Way”.

Upon searching the archives of your blog, I see that at one point you had a Close Personal Friendship with We Are Scientists. That was two years ago, so perhaps something has soured.
